Bluebell CoffeeAll casesMuch more than a coffee shop: the pioneering brand of specialty coffee roasted by women in Spain.
Bluebell Coffee introduced specialty coffee to Valencia, roasted exclusively by women. They asked us to evolve their positioning: to stop being seen only as a coffee shop and establish themselves as a national roasting brand.
We took on growth direction, redesigning their communications strategy and producing the content to align their digital identity with their real authority in the sector.
Bluebell Coffee had the prestige, the product and the story: pioneers in Spain, with their own roastery. What they lacked was a brand structure that communicated that authority beyond the doors of their physical shop. Bean origin, the work of roasting in a male-dominated sector and their status as pioneers were their greatest asset, yet none of it carried into their digital narrative. Anyone who didn't visit the Valencia shop missed the real value of the brand.
What we found:
- A brand anchored to the physical shop
- A pioneer story left unseen
- Graphic communication without a strategy
- Dependence on foot traffic
- E-commerce and B2B left untapped

The diagnosis revealed a perception gap: while the industry knew them as a reference for women-led roasting and origin quality, digital audiences saw them as just a brunch spot with pretty coffees. Their online presence had no strategic hierarchy. Posts focused almost entirely on the look of the room, sharply limiting their ability to sell coffee beans nationwide or win B2B clients.
In store, the experience was devoted and close; on social, a flat account with no conversion focus. Digital customers couldn't connect with the depth of the project or with the talent of the women behind the machines.

Growth was capped by the shop's capacity. Without a strong communications channel that educated people and kept online users coming back, it was impossible to scale roastery sales and diversify revenue.
