Laura Cano ArqAll casesArchitecture doesn't have to be cold: how to turn a technical studio into a close, sustainable boutique brand.
Laura Cano Arq is a boutique architecture studio founded and led by women, defined by absolute support. They asked us to break with the rigid aesthetic of their sector and project their real identity: empathy, sustainability and care for detail.
We took on the repositioning, designing a new graphic identity, developing the website and structuring content production to align their digital image with the real closeness they offer every client.
Laura Cano Arq had an outstanding way of working, accompanying the client from the first sketch to the handover of the keys. What it lacked was a brand that could translate that level of personal commitment in a market saturated with corporate coldness. Care for sustainable materiality, passive design and the talent of an entirely female team were its greatest asset, but none of it came through in any format. Anyone landing on the website found only geometry and concrete.
What we found:
- An overly technical visual identity
- Communications focused only on drawings
- A visual disconnect with the residential client
- Sustainability values left unseen
- A generic aesthetic in a male-dominated sector

The diagnosis showed a serious perception gap: while in person the studio shone for its empathy and understanding of the client's living needs, its online presence conveyed the distance of a traditional industrial contractor. Its graphic communications lacked sensitivity. Posts were limited to technical elevations or aseptic results, sharply limiting its ability to connect with the residential client looking to build the definitive home for their family.
In meetings, the experience was one of absolute trust; on screen, one more firm in the crowd. The digital user couldn't find the emotional anchor needed to entrust a high-budget project over the long term.

Growth was limited by the inability to communicate its difference. Without a narrative that explained its immersive method, it was impossible to justify its fees against studios that competed aggressively by cutting prices at the cost of neglecting the project.
